Today - shot the first scene in the DRAG! music video featuring actor Daniel Palma as the young lad in drag attire.  Daniel's a very charming visual in the piece.

Moan Red on World Destruction...

Moan Red joined me in the front room of the Dresden to put down some amazing guitar tracks for YOUR WORLD DESTRUCTION - a song on my upcoming album titled DETROIT STRANGE. 

Yes... So...

Okay.  Sorry it's been a bit of time since I've added a music video (three women have distracted me somehow)...  My kid's graduating, my wife's having difficulty managing the Hotel at the YMCA, I took a month off to consider things (other than music).  So, yes, I have been slightly absent as the Dresden Cowboy.  Not to say I don't/won't have a new video up soon - I WILL!  Soon.  As always... thanks for tuning into my thing - checking out my music videos and stuff.

Ken's Corner...

Had the opportunity to interview on Ken's Corner, a nice, candid talk show for the internet.  Talked a bit about acting, writing, songs, video and, of course, the Dresden Cowboy catalog.  Hope to post that soon.

Got a cool tune, produced by Ed and Mike, titled Drag! that I'm currently shooting video for... It's all about an interesting cat who really likes wearing woman's shoes while walking the dog in the park. Wowser!

Angel Sing

Indeed, she looks like an angel...

Out of sorts...

Okay.  Sorry it's been a while.  I've been depressed.  I've been working on the Angel Sing video and it has, in a way, turned into a difficult adventure.  Mostly because a short while back, my first roommate and first bandmate Eric Norton passed away.  Then, my next door neighbor and friend for the past ten years, Mike Gracy, passed away.  And, in the middle of that, my buddy and Cinco de Mayo brother, Gabe Diaz, passed.  Um.., I lost my father in 2009 and I guess somehow I was thinking that I understood the death game.  That, somehow, with the passing of my father that sorrow was a thing that I could fend off and deal with on a more - okay I've dealt with this in the biggest way possible - way.  Yet, I'm simply shooting a music video and instead of it taking a couple weeks it turns into almost two months.  Regardless, I'm pretty sure I just got off my last shots for this video.  I'm thinking that maybe, hopefully, my recent experience of loss with several brothers dying has affected the upcoming Angel Sing video in a compelling manner.

Soon to see = Angel Sing!  (also would add: miss my buddies).
